For the ancient Hawaiians, there is a profound relationship between the Land (ka 'aina), the Heavens (na lani), and the people (ke kanaka). More than "just" a relationship, there is an intertwining and interdependency between all three. This 2-day Intermediate/Advanced Level Training takes a deep look at the structure of the hands and the structure of the feet to recognize the astrological and planetary forces embedded within the body.
In our more advanced lineage teachings, Kahu Nelita left clues relating to the connection of the planetary influences and the healing, magical, & spiritual arts.
This training will begin with the charts she entrusted to Kaleolani and our 'ohana that reveal the existence of these planetary relationships. Then we will explore what the planets represent astrologically. We will consider the influences they exert in the heavens, on the land, and on our human lives. Then, we'll look at the qualities of the elements with those planets, and how to find these forces in our bodies.
Moving even further, we will utilize hands-on and experiential practices to access those forces. We will explore the potentials they offer in relation to our diagnostic and our healing work with the elements and mana. We will explore the possibilities available in the creative arts of manifestation, working with vision and omens, hula, chant, lua, and the full spectrum of the Hawaiian cultural arts.
